About:

The Kernow Veterinary Group is based in Cornwall with 5 practices including 4 day practices and one 24 hour practice.

The challenge:

Kernow Veterinary Group were facing some poor standings in regards to their local Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) rankings. They didn’t rank in key positions for many of the important high converting keywords and they we’re struggling to acquire any organic web traffic.

What we did:

VetHelpDirect for Vets started with an analysis of the current SEO performance of Kernow Veterinary Group to identify areas of weakness and opportunities.

The SEO team reviewed the content structure of the website to ensure each page served a purpose in bring people to the website

A strategy was developed to improve the on-page content and structural set up of each page in order to demonstrate its value to the Google search engine. In addition, the user experience of each was reviewed to ensure it was as clear and smooth as possible, avoiding any confusion or unnecessary obstacles for the visitor.

The results:

As a result of the SEO work, there has been a 32% increase in organic traffic coming to the website over past 6 months (7,998 vs 10,604).

Search engine ranking results have improved tremendously and Kernow are now showing prominently for all high converting keywords such as ‘Vets in Bodmin’ and ‘Vets in St.Austell’ etc

In addition, all practices are displaying in the Map Pack.
