Susie graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2001 and has worked in both mixed and small animal practice. In 2006, she launched the website VetHelpDirect.com, which provides internet marketing solutions and social media services to veterinary practices. In 2014 she graduated from Squared Online, Google’s Certificate in Internet Marketing. Susie lives with her husband Paul, their three energetic children and Freddie their sleepy terrier.

Julie came to Vet Help Direct in 2009 as the first employee. As an animal lover she considered becoming a Vet Nurse, but took a different path via admin roles before joining VetHelpDirect. Starting with customer services, Julie’s role has evolved with the expanding range of services we offer. She is now responsible for managing Facebook ads for our clients and collaborates with colleagues to provide interactive content for Facebook pages. Julie is married to Pete, and has 3 sons and 2 young cats, Luna and Mico. She loves making things, baking cakes and singing with her rock band.

Kim started her career in the veterinary industry after being a mum at home for 10 years.  Her dream as a child was to become a vet, but allergies prevented her from this chosen field! Working for veterinary practices from the safety of an office is the next best thing (sneeze free). Helpful and chatty by nature, working in customer services gives her the ideal opportunity to support all veterinary practices, providing help and advice with their online marketing. It's the perfect job for her.Kim has two children and a mental but soppy Springer Spaniel called Charlie. Charlie also occasionally models for Vet Help Direct!

Ellie has been part of the VetHelpDirect team since early 2012. With her background in digital marketing, graphic design and copywriting she's been able to get really stuck into VetHelpDirect's branding, in-house marketing and new products. Ellie loves talking and gets quite excited about what internet marketing can do for vet practices so training clients to use social media is one of her favourite tasks! When not travelling through Europe by bike or organising marathons in Uganda, Ellie lives with her husband Paul in Cardiff.

David is a Registered Veterinary Nurse and qualified copywriter. He started his nursing career at a purpose built veterinary hospital on the Isle of Wight, and worked up to Head Nurse of the hospital. He since has worked as Head Nurse in several other surgeries, including a mixed practice. David is a self-confessed geek, and has undertaken further training for Search Engine Optimisation, Analytics, Basic HTML, WordPress and is currently working on the Google Partners program.He is married to Mel, and has 3 grown boys and a dopey cat called Pebble.

Jenny has worked in the veterinary industry for over 20 years. Firstly nursing and then as head nurse at two busy veterinary surgeries on the south coast. Jenny then moved into veterinary sales working as a sales representative and then regional sales supervisor for Animalcare for 13 years. Being naturally chatty and bubbly makes Jen brilliant in her role with VetHelpDirect. Jenny is married to Mark and has two young children, a crazy springer spaniel Alfie, Ely the cat, Fish and Bluebell the tortoise.

Tracy is our Review Moderator who thoroughly enjoys her role and has loved seeing it grow from strength to strength over the years. One of the nicest parts of her role (apart from working with a great team), is reading all the lovely comments which come through on a daily basis, these often put a smile on her face and sets her up for the working day ahead! Outside of work Tracy lives with her Partner Andrew and their 4 children. Tracy enjoys spending time cooking and baking and generally socialising. They also share their home with a very vocal cat called Molly.

David graduated from Bristol Vet School in 2005. He spent several years in equine practice, developing a particular interest in pharmacology and anaesthetics. He also works with the Pony Club, providing instruction, pastoral care and veterinary cover at competitions from branch to National Championship level. David developed his digital skills working at the MyVetMeds veterinary pharmacy and brings those skills to VetHelpDirect particularly in his work creating content and email campaigns for veterinary practices.

Sarah is a Registered Veterinary Nurse, and since leaving practice has gained further qualifications in copywriting and social media marketing. She spent ten years in mixed private practice, six as Head Nurse, before moving to New Zealand for work. This allowed Sarah to work with sick and injured penguins, so there was never a dull day! Since returning to the UK, she’s worked in the charity sector in an educational role, and now specialises in social media and content writing. She’s married to Derek, and they live with dogs Lucy and Harvey, and a three-legged crazy cat called Freddie, who’s undoubtedly the boss of the house.

LYNNE WHITCHER

As Customer Service Consultant for VetHelpDirect, Lynne's role is to develop service standards, deal with customer enquiries and manage customer expectations. She achieves this in person, over the phone and by email.  Lynne was previously employed in a customer service role providing flexible office space and before that she had various roles from Catering and Hospitality Manager to Event and Development Manager. In diverse establishments ranging from Country Estates for private companies to the business and industry sector. Lynne also took two years out to work in a children’s nursery which was great fun.
